
Uriah Kiehl is our Church Administrator. He has lived in the Scott City area since April 2001, although he has lived in the Southeast Missouri region since 1994. Uriah attended church his whole life. He truly gave his life to Christ in the Spring of 2002 at Commerce Baptist Church in Commerce, MO. He has been married to his lovely wife, Kimberly, since July 2000. They have two children Nathan (2001), and Emma (2003). Uriah graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies in December 2003. He graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies in December 2013. Uriah graduated from Midwestern again with a Master of Divinity in May 2018. Uriah became church administrator in August 2023. He is also a deacon. Uriah has served in various volunteer positions over the past 18 years as as a member of First Baptist Church of Scott City: Sunday School Teacher, Personnel Committee Member, and Tech Team Director among others. Uriah’s favorite verse is Proverbs 17:28 – “Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.”.
