Six members of Cape Girardeau Baptist Association Churches (FBC Scott City, Rescued & Redeemed, FBC Millersville) just returned from a mission trip to Belluno, Italy. Belluno is a town in northeast Italy of about 30,000 people.
We are partnering with the Evangelical Church of Belluno, Italy to reach their community with a witness of Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to work closely with the Evangelical Church in Belluno for outreach and evangelism. The church is approximately 20 years old with 30-40 members.
We spent time in the main center plaza sharing the gospel, passing out flyers about the gospel and the local church, and having English lessons.
We were blessed greatly by God to travel to Belluno. It was encouraging to see and hear God at work in Italy. Please continue to pray for the people of Belluno. The church is strong and growing so we praise God. Many of the people in Belluno are hardened in their heart against religion. It was heartbreaking to speak to some people who openly disdained the Bible and Jesus.
The harvest in Belluno is plentiful but the workers are few. Please pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.
